cleanly even in large outdoor or stone-walled venues, at a fraction of the
cost and staging footprint of four players. Julie's solo offering is also more
flexible: she can switch from classical for the ceremony to jazz piano for
cocktail hour to live violin over a DJ set for the reception, which a quartet
cannot do.

## What's the difference between "live violin over the track" and "featured arrangement"?

"Live violin over the track" plays the original recording with Julie's violin
layered live on top, best for songs where the vocal is iconic and a violin
adds emotional lift (Adele's "Make You Feel My Love," Christina Perri's "A
Thousand Years"). "Featured arrangement" replaces the vocal entirely: Julie
plays the song's vocal melody on violin from memory, in classical style. Best
