A custom walk-on theme composed for that person — even eight bars — reframes their walk from a program item into a real moment. Multiply across five or six honorees and the whole ceremony has a spine that carries the audience.

This booking builds that spine into the run of show. Julie composes short walk-on themes for each honoree based on your brief (industry, tenure, or a musical detail from the person), locks them in advance with your production team, and performs them live from the stage. Between honorees, transitions and stings under video segments. After the program, the same artist pivots into a DJ + live violin after-party.

How production works with your team.

Julie joins a pre-event production call with your show caller, AV lead, and honoree coordinator to walk through cue points and confirm the walk-on themes are locked to each honoree name and image. She works off standard cue sheets, syncs to click track or in-ear if the production requires it, and reads standard broadcast/live-event cues.

Custom walk-on composition is quoted separately from performance fee based on honoree count (usually 3–8 pieces per ceremony), typical lead time 4–6 weeks. Certificate of insurance issued within 48 hours naming the venue and hosting organization. Julie has performed at ceremonies across corporate venues from The Metropolitan Club to Mandarin Oriental to Webster Hall.
