Galas & Benefits

Live music for your gala or benefit.

Solo violin for arrivals and the silent auction, jazz piano through seated dinner, walk-on themes for honoree presentations, and DJ + live violin for the after-party — one artist across the whole gala evening. Foundation galas, nonprofit benefits, membership galas, awards evenings.

What galas actually need from music.

Galas run on program structure. Cocktails and silent auction, seated dinner, program with honoree presentations and remarks, then the after-party or dancing hour. Music has to sit correctly in each phase — atmospheric during arrivals so conversation and giving happen easily, low and warm through dinner so guests can hear the speakers, energizing without being obtrusive during transitions, and full-scale for the closing dance segment.

Julie holds all four phases with one booking. That's a real coordination win for the gala planner (no separate string / piano / DJ vendors to align on the run of show) and reads better in the room — the same musical hand carrying the arc from arrival through program through after-party.

Gala logistics.

Julie works off the gala's run of show provided by the event planner or production team. She joins a pre-event production call to walk through cues (walk-on themes per honoree, video segment timing, transition points). Custom compositions for a specific honoree or brand moment are quoted separately with 4-6 weeks of lead time.

NDAs signed same-day for private foundation and family office galas. Certificate of insurance within 48 hours naming the venue and hosting organization. Julie has performed at galas across corporate venues including The Metropolitan Club, Mandarin Oriental, and 620 Loft & Garden.
